Presented by John Beatty

—A presentation of the many photographers who worked in Fort Wayne, from the early daguerreotypists up until the Great Depression. It will examine what is known about them and show examples of their work.

John D Beatty has been a Reference Librarian & Bibliographer for the ACPL Genealogy Center since 1984. He holds a Master’s in History and Library Science. He has written numerous articles about Fort Wayne history and edited Volume One of “History of Fort Wayne & Allen County” in 2006.

Our Computer Interest Group meets the third Wednesday evening of each month September to May in Meeting Room B at 7:00 p.m. We have a round table discussion of genealogy computer software and hardware issues from attendee questions. A genealogy related video is often shown after questions are answered.
