January 11, 2012 Genealogy Program – “Writing a Book Using Family Tree Maker and Microsoft Word”

Presented by Curt Sylvester.

Curt will explain how to use FTM for collecting and organizing genealogical info. He will also show how to scan and store photographs and records for a future book. Using Microsoft Word, Curt will show how to transfer the info from FTM into the book.

Curt Sylvester is the President of the Allen County Genealogical Society. He has written six genealogical books which are shelved in the family history collection in the Genealogy Center. He also serves on the Executive Council for the Indiana State AARP.
