Back by popular request, Roberta Ridley will be sharing why researching African-American Slave records are so vital to reconnecting families today for stronger and more focused households. This research is relevant to all researchers who wish to learn the many varied resources available. Roberta Ridley, is an ACGSI member and fourth generation Allen County resident. She is chairwoman of the African American Genealogical Society of Fort Wayne. She is an attendant at the ACPL Circulation Desk. Roberta also serves on the committee for “It Is Well With My Soul” an organization that is focusing on unlearning internalized racism.
