March 14, 2012 Genealogy Program – “Sharing Stories of Your Family Heirlooms”

Visitors Always Welcome! 6:30 p.m. refreshments and social time, 7:00 p.m. genealogy program in Meeting Room A at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

This will be a special program because it provides an opportunity for all of our members to share with one another.

Remember the “Show and Tell” days from our early years in school? It was always so much fun to take something and tell about it in front of our classmates. Well now you can relive that moment in our own ACGSI Show and Tell evening.

Each member is asked to bring a family heirloom to share. Please share the story that goes with it and how it relates to your special ancestor. This will be a great time as we learn about ourselves and one another. I am sure that the heirlooms will prove to be both sentimental and humorous.

We look forward to seeing all of you and sharing with you those precious heirlooms.
