“Saving Information Found on the Internet and Placing It in our Personal Records” presented by Stan Follis
How to save paragraphs of text, photos or an entire web page using your web browser. Review computer basics, choosing folder locations, naming folders and files. Learn Windows Snipping tool or Print Screen button to select text and images on web pages. Also a brief look at saving web page data and links to OneNote, Evernote, Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer, Family Tree Maker and copyright issues.

Presented by John Beatty
A presentation of the many photographers who worked in Fort Wayne, from the early daguerreotypists up until the Great Depression. It will examine what is known about them and show examples of their work.
John D Beatty has been a Reference Librarian & Bibliographer for the ACPL Genealogy Center since 1984. He holds a Master’s in History and Library Science. He has written numerous articles about Fort Wayne history and edited Volume One of “History of Fort Wayne & Allen County” in 2006.
