Unless we have a guest speaker, our Genealogy Technology Group is an open discussion of anything related to genealogy whether software, the internet, computers, mobile devices such as cellphones and tablets, social media and much more. Bring your questions and/or problems to the Allen County Public Library, Room B on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Education Program——

—Presented by Curt Sylvester author of six genealogical books shelved in the ACPL Family History Room, past president of ACGSI, current Chair of Programming, and State President of Indiana AARP.

—A review of our ancestor’s religious heritage including Judaism, early Christianity, Roman Catholicism, Protestant Reformation, Presbyterians, Anabaptists, English Reformation, Quakers, Moravians, Methodists, and national religions. Each of these movements affected our ancestors in how they thought, where they lived, and the records they left.

We have an open discussion of anything related to the internet, computers, social media, genealogy software and much much more.
