“Antique Post Cards of Fort Wayne” presented by Randy Harter – April 8, 2015 – Free Educational Genealogy Program

The Harter Postcard Collection is housed in the Allen County Public Library.  The antique postcards record the history of the city of Fort Wayne.  Learn how the vintage postcards were collected, dated, and stored.

Randy Harter is a retired business executive and local history buff.  He has been collecting for nearly forty years.  He is the author of Postcard History: Fort Wayne. He and his wife have gifted over 3,000 postcards to the Allen County Public Library.

6:30 p.m. refreshments and social time. 7:00 p.m. a free genealogy program in Meeting Room A at the Allen County Public Library (ACPL), 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Meets the third Wednesday evening of each month September to May in Meeting Room B at 7:00 p.m at ACPL. We have an open discussion of anything related to the internet, computers, social media, genealogy software and much much more.
