Join us Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the Allen County Public Library to hear one of America’s most popular genealogical lecturers. Share our blog with your friends and come hear John Colletta who has worked at the Library of Congress and taught workshops at the National Archives.

You can also visit the Genealogy Center before and/or after sessions at the Allen County Public Library. Mon-Thurs hours are 9 AM – 9 PM. Fri-Sat 9 AM – 6 PM, Sun 12 PM – 5 PM.

—This presentation will assist those seeking to learn how to find one’s ancestral home in Europe. Learning from the speaker’s journey to find her Slovenian roots will provide a path for researchers of 19th and 20th century immigrants.  Learn how to conduct a successful search for your family’s village in Europe.

—Sara Allen is a Reference Librarian in The Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library.  She and her mother are co-administrators of the Mitchell surname & DNA project at Family Tree DNA.
