—Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are just a few of the online tools genealogist can use to connect with their family, organize research, or share an awesome find with their friends. There are multiple uses for social media when it comes to genealogy and this session will cover the basics of what you need to know.

—Allison DePrey Singleton is a librarian in the Genealogy Center. Previously, she was the coordinator of family history programming at the Indiana Historical Society. She is a native of Allen County and holds master’s degrees in public history and library science from Indiana University.
