“Deciphering the History of Your House” February 14, 2018 presented by Jill Downs – Free Educational Genealogy Program

If one is interested in genealogy, then it’s a sure bet that you want to know some history about the houses where your ancestors lived. This presentation will focus on where to look for information and how to assemble the segments you turn up into a logical storyline.

Jill Downs has a graduate degree in historic preservation and is listed on the Qualified Professionals Roster with the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. She is an author of a National Register of Historic Places. She has researched the histories of over 100 houses and has written four successful nominations for the National Registry of Historic Places.
