“Your History Can Be Found At Home: Virtual Libraries” – April 14, 2021- Free Genealogy Program
Attendees will learn about the different online resources available to help them find hard-to-locate genealogy books online for free. Whilst researching family history, many find they need to access a resource from a remote place that is not local. Others have exhausted most research options other than books and need to use these published sources to break through a brick wall. Attendees will receive a list of Virtual Libraries to use for research, including such websites as Internet Archive, FarmilySearch Books, Google Books, Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) and more. Attendees will also receive tips on how to utilize these resources to get the best results.
Curt Witcher, Manager of the Genealogy Center, will present the program.
