Meets the third Wednesday evening of each month September to May in Meeting Room B at 7:00 p.m at ACPL. We have an open discussion of anything related to the internet, computers, social media, genealogy software and much much more.

1940 Allen County, Indiana Census Records

Allen County Genealogical Society of Indiana volunteers recently finished data entry for for the 155,000 inhabitants of Allen County, Indiana in the 1940 Census Index. Indexers were: Adam Barrone, Martha Barrow, Rick Blossom, Judy Bunn, Cindy Cadwallader, Linda Churchward, Sue Downey, Dick Florea, Marge Graham, Rebecca Irwin, Nancy Kucharski, Toni Meyers, Pat Ormiston, Judy Richter, Mike Rossworm, and Jeanette Sherbondy.

All 155,000 names are organized alphabetically. Each name lists the Enumeration District, Sheet Number, Fort Wayne Ward or Township and a link to the census image for all 20 Allen County townships.
