“Probate Records, More Than Just Wills!” presented by Marge Graham – December 9, 2015 – Free Educational Genealogy Program

Wills are one of the first documents searched for proof of family relationships.  What other types of records are filed in probate court?  Where will they be found and how are they used?  What substitutes are available in case of missing or destroyed records?  Suggestions and tips will be shared for a successful search of probate records.

Marge Graham, former Certified Genealogist, has more that 33 years of genealogy research experience.  She is past president of ACGSI and now serves as Education Chair and Website Coordinator.  An instructor at the ACPL Genealogy Center, she continues to volunteer having surpassed 2,500 hours.  She is the Allen County Genealogist for the Indiana Genealogical Society.
