“Introduction to DNA” September 13, 2017 presented by Sara Allen – Free Educational Genealogy Program

Learn about DNA testing for genealogy including the differences in the various types of tests and testing companies. Learn about typical results and how they assist in genealogical research.

Sara Allen is a Reference Librarian in The Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library. She is the DNA administrator for the Mitchell surname project. She has completed the Advanced Genetic Genealogy course with CeCe Moore.

Guests are Always Welcome!

6:30 p.m. refreshments and social time the second Wednesday evening, September to May, at 7:00 p.m. is our free Genealogy Education Program in the theater on the lower level at the Allen County Public Library (ACPL), 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Usually we meet in Meeting Room A except for this September and January sessions in the theater on the lower level.
