“Introduction to DNA for Genealogy” presented by Sara Allen – February 11, 2015 – Free Educational Genealogy Program
Is DNA all Greek to you? Learn about the three major tests for genealogists: Y-DNA, mtDNA, and autosomal tests. By the end of the presentation, attendees will know how to use DNA testing to embrace their traditional genealogical research.
Presented by Sara Allen a Reference Librarian in The Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library. A native of this area, she began researching her own family over thirty years ago at ACPL. She and her mother are co-administrators of the Mitchell surname and DNA project at Family Tree DNA.
