Newspapers provide a wealth of information about our ancestors’ lives, vital records, notices, tax records, biographical detail and local gossip.  Online databases have made browsing and searching much easier. This presentation will demonstrate the major databases available at the Genealogy Center that you will find most useful for your family history search.

Delia Cothrun Bourne has been on staff at the Genealogy Center since 1983.  She is Co-Coordinator of Programming and Co-Administrator of Genealogy Center’s blog and Facebook page.  For 25 years, she has worked with PERSI as an encoder and editor.  Delia was a writer for the History of Fort Wayne and Allen County, 1700-2005.  She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
