“Endangered Ephemera: Rescuing Evidence of Our Endeavors” – October 12, 2022    – Free Genealogy Program

Learn to identify and preserve often overlooked and discarded bits of local history which capture evidence of people in the midst of activities which shed light on their associates, civic engagement, education, employment, faith, personal interests, and upbringing.

Adam Barrone is PERSI/Research Center Supervisor for the ACPL Genealogy Center and is webmaster for the Allen County Genealogical Society. In his role as webmaster, he searches out and digitizes materials of interest to families of Allen County people. To build on our impressive online digital archive, he needs your help to be the eyes and ears of the Society to seek out gems in personal collections, local offices, antique stores, auctions, used bookstores, and garage sales.
